"Concha" is Spanish for shell, and conchos of the old west were created by Native Americans who hammered Mexican pesos into oval or round medallions and strung them together with leather. As trade increased access to tools and stamps, the medallions became more elaborate and often featured scalloped edges and a central radiating design. This necklace is approximately 36" long and features unique bronze-colored conchos separated by matching beads. Comes with matching wire earrings.
